METAPHOR

Waiting with the patience
Of a farmer
In a dry season,
For the laundry to finish,
The mail to arrive,
The soap bubbles to drain;
For that ox of an idea
To yoke to some
Singular partner,
And plow the fields
Of imagination.

    Supremely done. A great image of what one goes through in the day.
